Blogging has certainly evolved over the time and as we all know, it has already become a mainstream business tool for many small businesses, an incredible voice-box for individuals to voice their thoughts, a way to mobilize communities and much more. It has now become the primary means of self-publication. It’s importance in media is now unquestionable, and the only choice an inviduals or a companies have to make is whether they should strive to catch up or stay behind. In this regard, blogging by itself is not the only way for beginning bloggers to earn money. Look at the following options you could think of:

  • Social Media Consulting and Blogging for offline clients: No matter which country you are in, chances are that not every company might have heard about it, much less blogging about their products. Blogging for them is boosts their chances of being found on Google for any local searches conducted online.  Using free tools like the Google’s External Keyword tool and others, you could do a simple five minute search on what the likely searc h terms are( for the business in question) and drive traffic through regular content on the blog.
  • Blog promotion services: Most individuals would have limited resources when it comes to driving traffic to their blogs and most companies would not have enough time or know-how to do the same.  When I started out blogging, I realized that if someone could solve my problem of generating sustainable and profitable levels of traffic for reasonable cost, I would gladly subscribe to such a service. In fact, I still look for any such services but I don’t seem to be able to find any. Bloggers who do have the time, resources and skills necessary to provide services such as these wil be in good demand.
  • Blogging Workshops for individuals and companies:  Blogging, all by itself, can earn money for individuals and it is perfect for working from home.  For companies, as mentioned before, there are plenty of benefits. Anything this popular can warrant workshops that can be conducted offline. You could spread the importance of blogging, how blogging can help make money for individuals and companies and much more by reaching out and taking private workshops. You could take classes in colleges or universities. You could conduct online marketing workshops for small business and even create branding campaigns for businesses.

There are plenty of opportunities for opportunistic, enthusiastic and enterprising individuals. It’s just the matter of taking that first step and living with that decision.
