Blogging consistently, trying to get in a lot of traffic, maintaining the quality of the content, building your network – it’s a never ending process. While you are doing everything you can to prime your efforts online, you could do a lot offline too. How about doing a few things on the weekends so increase your popularity and your traffic? Could you influence others and be well-known in the area of your residence? You very well could, if you do the following:

  1. Start an offline group for bloggers: Go to meetup.com and start an offline group related to your niche in your locality. For instance, if you blog on “self-development”, it would be an amazing idea to start a community based on that. It is an easy way for you demonstrate your skills as a leader and organizer. Additionally, you will be able to meet new people Interested in your niche. Not to mention, they will all check your blog out regularly.
  2. Create Buzz: There are a lot of other ways you can make people stand-up and take notice. If you have the budget, you could promote or sponsor an event related to your niche; you could do charity and offer some services for the needy. If you have an appetite for adventure or if you wish to be a little more aggressive, you could rally for a good cause. You might even consider involving others to rally, rebel, and support or endorse a cause.
  3. The 2-page Provoking Brochure: You could think of this Interesting Idea I was thinking about (not all niches might work or be suitable for this). Publish a 2 page flyer or brochure with a write-up to communicate to your potential readers about something you are passionate about (but related to your niche). If you have a blog on “earning money online”, you could think about writing something on the lines of “living your dream”. If you have a blog on “going green”, you could have a lot of passion poured into a write-up talking about “why go green?”

What else can you think of to do offline so as to push your efforts even further when it comes to market your blog, build a brand for it, bring traffic to it and get you noticed?
