About
Blogging Elements was created in the spirit of knowing the limitless life-possibilities blogging offers. Our target reader is the novice blogger, with our primary goal centering around the “elements” of blogging: sharing tips, thoughts and ideas; providing information and assistance; and helping our readers to achieve overall blog development success.
As we all know, the Internet has given us many new social tools that have changed the way we communicate and live our lives online. Blogging is one of the greatest innovations that this new web based world has brought to life.

Mike is employed as an engineering technician and currently resides in Salt Lake City, Utah with his wife and seven year old daughter–(Mike’s other daughter is an eight year old German Shepherd mix who coins the phrase, “Man’s Best Friend.”) For the first 26 years of his life, Mike resided in Southern California, where he lived and breathed skate and snowboarding, both as a hobby and a line of work.
When Mike moved to Salt Lake City he started a new career, working in the spa industry, where he began in “plastics thermoforming” and has since moved into the engineering department where he tests and develops new products. One of his other specialty’s is robotics programming for spa shell production.
Mike describes himself as, “A regular guy who is just enjoying life.” The following quote describes Mike’s relationship with computers and the Internet: ”I am an Internet entrepreneur who will not stop until my love for computers and the Internet becomes not just a hobby, but a career. My desire is simple: I intend to make a living without having to leave my house and family; being able to spend more quality time with my daughter and wife is priceless.”
What is your favorite thing to do when not Blogging?
First and foremost, I enjoy spending time with my family (even though they insist all they ever see of me is the back of my head on the computer!), and playing golf has become–obsession wise–second in line to the computer. For me, golf is exhilarating and relaxing in the same moment; (when I’m playing well that is!). I also enjoy photography and enjoy blending this hobby with golf and family!
What is your favorite book or author?
I can’t say I have one favorite book– actually I prefer listening to audio books. Some of my favorites are:
“The 4 Hour Work Week” by Timothy Ferriss
“Small is the New Big” by Seth Godin
“Meatball Sundae” by Seth Godin
“Tribes” by Seth Godin
*Clearly, Seth Godin is a personal favorite—you should check out his books!
What are your favorite blogs or sites?
The blogs mentioned above are exceptional “blogging” blogs. I also make a point to visit the site of anyone who leaves a comment on Blogging Elements. Staying in touch with the people who are kind enough to offer their thoughts on B.E. is important to me.
