+ Grow Your Subscriber Count

If your blog is growing the subscriber base, even slowly this is some good progress. Gaining the trust of your readers and subscribers is not easily won.  If you have realistic goals for your blogs subscriber growth you will more likely to feel positive about your progress and stay target with your blogging goals. I repeat stay positive this is so important to you and your blog’s growth.

+ Increasing  Inbound Links

Links are very important for any blog. They help with traffic on so many levels, search engine rank, and recognition. For most bloggers your incoming links are also good  Representative of how well you are recognized in your industry or niche.  Your number of links will grow as you start to become a recognized expert  in your niche.

+ Increasing Your Valuable Comments

If your blog is receiving a decent amount of valuable comments. This is a good sign that people are reading, and that your posts are of interesting topics to them. Comments are the lifeline of blogs, and those that have a lot of valuable comments from readers become even more useful for the other readers who gain even more insight from the comments.

+ Increasing Visitors & Page Views

Many blogger’s get overly abscessed with stats.  Growth in your blog’s traffic is not always a good Representative  of surpassing your blogging goals, of course this it not a bad thing.  Over time your blog stats will increase as more and more readers visit. As they read and subscribe to your blog the stats will be to your liking.

+ Be Consistent With Posting

When you are posting consistently on your blog, you’re already a step ahead of most of other bloggers. It may sound really easy, but consistent posting is a big challenge for many blogger’s. If you’re able to keep posting consistently, good things will most  likely come to you and your blog. Readers become accustomed to getting fresh content from you.

+ Post Quality Articles

Quality can and usually is a somewhat subjective issue.  Most bloggers can look back through their archives and get a good and accurate idea of how their quality has gone over time. Growth in quality is natural as you will become more knowledgeable about your topics.  As you learn about blogging and writing in general your posts will get better. Take a look back at how your quality of writing has improved, and most likely you will be encouraged to keep going and see how it goes.

+ Clearly Define Your Niche

Most overlooked items when starting a new blog is to accurately define your audience that you will target. As you become more experienced you’ll learn what types of content your readers like and don’t like. Then your likely to get a better idea of where you fit into your niche. Knowing your place is very important for creating a brand  for your blog that is appealing to your readers.  If you know exactly where you fit in your niche, you’re on the right track.

+ Increasing Your Network

Networking may be one of  the most crucial aspects of blogging aside from content creation, and sometimes may be even more important. When you’re continually meeting new blogger’s and building the relationships that you have made. Building a network will help you to learn from others and gain valuable and loyal readers as well as increase inbound links. This can also  increase votes at social media sites, and so much more.

+ Reaching your Goals

Quite a few blogger’s have long-term goals, like making a living with a blog, or getting 5,000 subscribers. What many blogger’s lack are the short-term goals that will get them to those long-term goals. I recommend a good way to set goals with a strategy I refer to as SMART goal setting. If you are setting monthly goals for blog revenue, subscribers or traffic, and you are achieving these goals. This is great, Sometimes goals will not always come as quickly as we want. The thing is don’t give up because you are not getting to the long-term goals as fast as you want.  Take the the time to give yourself credit in meeting your short-term goals and keep challenging yourself to achieve the long term ones.

+ To Much Time In Front Of Your PC

If you are healthy then your blog and it’s content will be as well. To some this may be silly but is something that is easy to neglect, go for a walk.
