You just can’t post regularly unless you are a professional blogger or writer of if you have Albert Einstien’s head. For most of us out there, taking time to do a post on your blog just because you have to be consistent has another problem coming up — the lack of ideas to post that regularly. Here aree some simple tips to help you ride the consistency steed without falling off it:

1. Learn batch production from Manufactruring: Manufacturing plants have to produce continuously; but they all kinds of stuff is produced in batches. It makes more sense for them to produce it that way, keeps the costs low and gives them time to adjust production volumes with that of their demand. Why not write blog posts like that? At times, we are at our productive and creative best. Pick these times to do more posts than necessary and use the “auto-post” feature to have them post automatically. This compensates for some days when you can’t seem to get your head on top of your shoulders.

2. Write early mornings: It so happens that when I wake up early mornings( it happens by mistake, sometimes), I realized that I tend to write faster and I am more productive than any other time of the day. I didn’t make a great discovery here, Stevepavlina talks a lot about it. So wake up early mornings and do the writing part then. Everything else can wait until later during the day.

3. Jott Ideas down: If you are old school type, pick that little red book and pencil and jott your ideas down each time they occur to you. If you are all digital, like I am, download an app called Jott for iphone (other smartphones will have some other relevant apps) and just narrate your ideas to the phone (all messages will be stored for later use).Whatever you do, don’t let that darned idea go away…

4. Don’t bother about being perfect: There is a problem with people who want things perfect — while they spend time tweaking and adjusting, money is being snatched by opportunitists. Don’t worry about your posts being perfect, you will have all the time in the world to edit, correct and re-publish if need be. If the post has to go live, it has to go live.

Consistency is only a matter of resourcefulness and diligence. Just follow the tips above and see how easy blogging could be. Have you tried any more tips and tricks to get your blog wheels going? Do let us know.
