Finding A Hot Niche For Your Blog

Niches are always changing and expanding, but they never die completely. Before deciding to open up a BANS store, market affiliate products, or sell something on eBay, it is extremely important to do some quality research. An hour or two of research before you “jump in” is essential.  Picking a topic out of thin air and immediately beginning the creation of a website about that topic without doing thorough research is a recipe for failure.  We recommend checking out the eBay Express Top Searches page. This is a list of the top searches on eBay and it also breaks them up into their appropriate product categories.  Another cool tool is the Lycos Top 50, which sorts out the top 50 most popular internet searches and also lists what’s hot today on the web.

Taking some time to do quality research will pay off big time in the long run! Keyword research is really big if you are going to market successfully online.  You may find your income can go through the roof if you market to what is HOT and what lots of people are looking for.  Don’t wait for customers to come to you; go to them first by providing them with what they’re looking for!   Sometimes it’s good to bring a new product to the market; but again, the customer must want (or think that they need!) your product or service.  Find out what they want and bring it to them.
