Internet Marketing Secrets Bloggers Can Use
Posted on 20. May, 2009 by Ashwin in Blogging Elements
Internet marketing is one area wherein the insiders are always on the move. They constantly think, ask, learn, apply and go back to learning again — the cycle never stops, ever. Can bloggers learn a lesson or two from them? You bet. Here they are:
1. Asking questions: If you ever stopped by at warriorforum.com, you can hear the incessant flow of questions on that forum. Thousands of questions are asked each day, every hour, even while this is being written. Asking questions is one of the foremost things bloggers should do too — something they could pick from Internet marketers. The thirst Internet marketers have for knowledge is immense. They not only ask questions about Internet marketing at large, but also about software scripts, autoresponders, about payment gateways and much more. Do bloggers ever ask? Not much. Bloggers post, opine, state and that’s it. Where is the asking part?
2. Focus: Scan or pore through some of the best threads on the warriorforum, you will find that some of the most successful Internet Marketers have been doing business by making info products or software pertaining to a single niche for a long time now. They never let go.They just keep at that niche for the simple reason that it makes them money. Power of focus can be overwhelming. Bloggers can learn to focus like that. How many blogger stick to their niche?
3. Thirst to excel: You can almost feel the energy these Internet Marketers have when they go about their businesses each day. They never settle for the second best. They aren’t happy with a sale or two. They aspire to sell a lot, each day. They aim for residual streams of income. They constantly tweak their squeeze pages, send mails to their mailing lists, optimize their webpages or blogs and much more. Do bloggers pay that kind of attention to their blogs? Wouldn’t it great if bloggers show the same passion and that thirst to excel?
4. Automation: One defining commonality between most of these Internet marketers is their desire to automate anything that can be automated. They constant endeavor is to see “how to get things done automatically, without them lifting a finger”. Can blogging be thought in those lines, without pinching on the quality, frequency and the personality of the blogger? Have you thought of blog automation?
Can we do what these Internet Marketers do? of course, a lot of them use blogging as a part of their overall strategy to get opt-in subscribers, loyal customer base and such and that’s an entirely different matter altogether. What other lessons can we pick from Internet Marketers?
