What Blogging Does To Your Brain

Blogging is like solving puzzles, only it doesn’t demand too much; actually it does, but not the way tricky puzzles do. Blogging requires a lot from you, apart from time and consistent effort. It does strange things to your head; makes you more committed than a husband is to a wife. It makes you think differently, act differently, do multi-tasking, think ahead, think back or maybe just think. Here’s what it can do to you brain:
- Twist everything for you: No matter what a bloggers looks at, they will twist it. If Barrack Obama says something, it will be presented to you with a dash of opinion, humour or what have you. Reviews, opinions, point of views, Individual takes on anything and everything — this is what you get from a blog, don’t you?
- Make you rebellious: There is a rebellious streak in every blogger, if you ask me. Just the fact that you started a blog — whether you already had a job or not — tells me that you want to do more; you want to speak out; you want to be heard and you want to reach out. That rebellious streak I am talking about also surfaces in all those postts you write and the fiery responses to the comments others make.
- Make you act like military — discipline and all: Strangely, arrogant and opinionated bloggers — which includes all of us — somehow adhere to schedules and deliver posts on time. There is an overwhelming sense of responsibility and a tendency to be very disciplined. The frequency of posts is kept up, blog is maintained well, tags are managed, the blog theme is constantly being pruned, and plenty is invested for the blog’s design and upkeep.
- Give you an eye to detail: Yet another thing that bloggers tend to pick up is an unmistakable eye to detail. Everything is looked at with a critical eye and analyzed; every word said ad published is scrutinzied and sometimes presented with a different perspective altogether. You never miss a damned thing. You are always on top of your niche and looking to create more, produce more, provide more information and meet more people.
Bloggers are fine people and I am proud to just belong. What do you think? Are you proud of the fact that you are a blogger?
