Why Bloggers Make For Awesome Affiliate Marketers
Posted on 06. May, 2009 by Ashwin in Marketing
Affiliate marketing, I am sure you know, is nothing but the entire process of preparing to sell other people’s products. However, not many people get it right simply because most people either don’t have the motivation to get started and even if they do, they don’t really know how to do it. Assuming someone did manage to get started, they wouldn’t know how to write persuasive, effective articles or posts that can convince and close sales. Bloggers then, if you look carefully, are right there at the most wanted category for affiliate marketers.
Bloggers can be great affiliate marketers because:
1. Bloggers can be persuasive: Some bloggers can be really convincing in whatever-it-is-that-they-blog-about and that is a primary requirement for affiliate marketing. To be a successful affiliate, you got to be able to inform, persuade and sell. Bloggers bring with them a consummate skill in moving the masses with their words; they have the ability to bring about a change, what then is the mere act of recommending someone else’s product?
2. Many bloggers, if not all of them, blog for money: Let’s admit it, most bloggers out there set out blogging for money in the first place. As Mike found out in his previous post titled ” Why Don’t You Have A Blog“, there are roughly more than a million bloggers blogging for money alone. I know that there are plenty of others who are blogging for money too, it’s just that they don’t like to admit it. For a blogger to be an affiliate marketer then, what else can be a better motivating factor than money. The fact most bloggers do love blogging comes as a feather in the cap.
So bloggers hear: pick a niche up, start blogging at your very best and start doing some affiliate marketing. What do you think?

Got to agree and not.. Well the only time bloggers become persuasive aff.marketers is when they gain authority… And w/billions of blogs nowdays. most blogs just simply dont fly

The fact that some blogs don’t fly shouldn’t be stopping an ambitious, fire-in-the-belly blogger to try to make it big as an affiliate marketer, right? They should gain authority; work towards it. Do whatever it takes; persist and rock on!
