I for the most part choose the paid themes on these same terms. Witch is that I myself am not a big coder. For the most part paid themes give you a lot greater ability to customize your site without having extensive code knowledge.

The only reason why I use paid theme is because I’m blind of codes, I need something practical and easy to use. I like to write but I don’t like to play around with the codes, I hope the paid theme could help me to make seo friendly blog so I can concentrate to write the content.

Adding to the reasons why I really like the premium theme choice. Paid or premium themes have other benefits such as support witch can be worth the price if you are not technically inclined. Although free themes have vastly been improving over the last year or two. Now you are able to find free themes with more back end flexibility such as easy banner ad insertion. Overall do what makes you happy, after all that is what matters most.
